OFFICIAL RULES

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

2. ELIGIBILITY: The Carpenter Co.'s "Dreamscape Sleepstakes" (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of the United States (except the state of Florida), 18 years of age and older. Void in Florida, Puerto Rico and where prohibited. Employees, directors and officers, and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses), including their respective household members, of Carpenter Co. (Sponsor), and their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, successors and assigns, advertising and promotion agencies, VOX Entertainment and Strobe Promotions, Inc., are not eligible to enter. Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. U.S. law governs this Sweepstakes.

3. SWEEPSTAKES TIMING: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 A.M. Eastern Time (ET) on 9/15/08 and ends 11:59:59 P.M. ET on 11/15/08 (the “Entry Period”).

4. HOW TO ENTER: There are 2 ways to enter this sweepstakes: 1) Go to www.SleepBetter.org (the “Website”) follow the links to the sweepstakes, complete and submit the registration form during the Entry Period, OR 2) On a 3” x 5” plain paper hand print your name, address, city, state, zip, and email address and mail in a #10 envelope with first-class postage affixed to : Carpenter Co.’s Dreamscape Sleepstakes, P.O. Box 825, Bethpage, NY 11714-0825. Mailed entries must be postmarked by 11/15/08 and received by 11/22/08. Not responsible for lost, late, postage due or misdirected mail. Limit one entry per person/email address. All online entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 11/15/08. Sponsor’s computer shall be the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes. Normal time rates, if any, charged by Internet Service Provider will apply. Entries that have been generated by a script, macro, bot or any other automated means will be deemed void. Proof of emailing does not constitute proof of delivery. Entries that are mechanically reproduced, copied, illegible, incomplete or inaccurate are void. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. If a dispute results as to the identity of an entrant, it will be determined that the entry was submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address from which the entry is made. For these purposes, the authorized account holder is the natural person assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.

5. WINNER DETERMINATION: Potential winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about 11/26/08 from among all eligible online and mail-in entries received. Random drawing will be conducted by Strobe Promotions, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Potential winners will be notified and confirmed by electronic mail and/or U.S. mail on or about 12/01/08. Potential Grand, First and Second Prize winners and guests of potential Grand Prize winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/liability release and where legal, a publicity release, and Federal and State tax release, and return these documents, properly executed, via overnight mail, within fourteen (14) days of issuance of notification. Potential Third Prize Winners may be required to verify their mailing address prior to issuance of prize. Non-compliance within this time frame, or if prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, will result in the entrant being disqualified, and the prize will be awarded to a potential alternate winner. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of prize. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Limit one prize per person/family/household.

6. PRIZE DESCRIPTION: One (1) Grand Prize: a 5-day/4-night trip for two (2) to New York, NY including round-trip coach class air transportation from major airport nearest winner’s home, standard hotel accommodations at the Dream Hotel, 210 West 55th Street, New York, NY (one room, double occupancy), transportation to and from airport/hotel and a multi-day spa package at Chopra Center & Spa at Dream Hotel, one dinner at Dream Hotel and $500 spending money; Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $5,000. One (1) First Prize: Select Comfort Updated 9000 Luxury Bed, including wireless remote, foundation and home delivery. ARV: $4,500. Two (2) Second Prizes: Select Comfort Memory Foam Bed, including wireless remote, foundation and home delivery. ARV: $3,850/ea. Fifty (50) Third Prizes: Women’s pajamas with Sleepbetter.org logo. ARV: $35 each. Total ARV of all prizes: $18,950. Actual ARV of Grand Prize trip may vary based on winner’s point of departure and existing rates at time of travel and any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value if any, will not be awarded. If a travel guest is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, he/she must be accompanied by his/her parent/legal guardian, and such person must pay his/her own expenses unless deemed to be a travel guest. Winner or parent or legal guardian of minor guests must sign travel release. Grand Prize trip must be completed within one year of notification date or prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential winner selected. If the Grand Prize Winner lives within 100 miles of prize destination city the air transportation portion of the prize will not be awarded and ground transportation will be substituted and no additional compensation will be provided. Travel subject to availability and confirmation of reservations, certain travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply. The trip may not be combined with any other offer. Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary at the same time. Winner and guest must possess valid ID in order to travel. All travel arrangements must be made through Sponsor’s agent on a carrier of Sponsor’s choice.) Grand Prize Winner must confirm available travel dates and flight times selected by the Sponsor at least three (3) weeks prior to travel dates. No extension or change of trip dates permitted. All taxes and any other costs not specifically stated within these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of the winners. Prizes may not be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable at the time the prize is awarded. If winner is deemed a minor in his/her state or place of residence, prize will be awarded in the name of a parent or legal guardian. If any part of the trip is unable to take place as planned, for any reason, including but not limited to, cancellation, scheduling conflicts or an event of force majeure, the remaining components of the prize will be awarded and Sponsor’s obligation to the winner will be fulfilled, and no other additional compensation will be provided. Tickets awarded as part of a prize are subject to the terms and conditions stated on such tickets. Any and all guarantees and warrantees of merchandise prizes are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions, and winners agree to look solely to said manufacturers for any such warranty or guarantee claim. All prizes will be awarded in accordance with the terms and conditions herein.

7. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements. By accepting a prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name, image, likeness, photograph, voice, and biographical material for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes by Sponsor, or a party designated by the Sponsor, including but not limited to, any online announcements, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. All entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, VOX Entertainment, Strobe Promotions, Inc. and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliated and related entities, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, successors and assigns,(“Releases”) from any claims, actions, injury, loss or damage of any kind, including but not limited to, personal injury or death, arising out of participation in this Sweepstakes or from the acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of any prize awarded or participation in any prize-related activity.

8. GENERAL: Sponsor will collect information from entrants for the purpose of the prize drawing and to notify winners. Sponsor will not share this information with any third parties, except as necessary for the administration of the Sweepstakes. Releases are not responsible for any entry or other related correspondence that is lost, late, illegible, lacking appropriate postage, stolen, or problems of any other kind, including but not limited to printing errors, whether mechanical, human or electronic. Releases are not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, inability to access the Internet or the Website, inability to submit an online entry form, fraud, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions or inaccurate transcription of entry information, whether caused by the Sponsor, users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this promotion or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions which may damage a user’s system or limit a participant’s ability to participate in the promotion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend part or all of this Sweepstakes at any time without notice, if in the opinion of Strobe Promotions, Inc. there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor may void any entries it suspects are at issue and award prizes in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation. Caution: Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage the website or any online service related to this promotion or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorney’s fees) from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entrants who violate the rules or interfere with this Sweepstakes in any manner. If an entrant is disqualified, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate that entrant’s eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes.

9. DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the participant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Commonwealth of Virginia, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Commonwealth of Virginia .

10. WINNERS’ LIST: A list of winners will be available after 12/31/08. To obtain the names of the winners, please visit the Website after 12/31/08 or mail a self-addressed stamped envelope postmarked by 12/31/08 to: Carpenter Co.’s Dream Sleepstakes Winners, P.O. Box 913, Bethpage, N.Y. 11711-0913. Residents of VT may omit return postage.

11. SPONSOR & ADMINISTRATOR: The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Carpenter Co., 5061 Monument Ave., Richmond, VA 23230. The administrator of this Sweepstakes is Strobe Promotions, Inc., 535 S. Broadway, Suite 203, Hicksville, NY 11801.
